Made with the same technique as the larger vessels the mini bowl is meant for the entryway, a catch-all of small, important things.

With a deeper dome than the previous iterations the dome geometry is more apparent and the cavity large. A smaller base was selected to exaggerate the angle of the shape.

Meant to further perfect the process and quality a vessel was produced using the 100 mold. Meant as a serial object each piece remains unique, with variance in the positioning and formation of the steel balls.

A one-off spherical formation provided a unique challenge for the production method. A dome-shaped mold cavity allowed for the joined sections to be repositioned upon cooling, a process that was repeated until the opening was too small to continue.

Following the initial vessel test a smaller, finer size of steel ball was used in construction. The simplicity of a shallow dome shape augments the complexity and repetition of the hexagonal tessellation.

Using the same construction method developed for a sculpture this was the first iteration of a vessel-formation. Composed from numerous 9/16" metal balls the bowl boasts a substantial weight.
